Who is Dr. Jessica Kiss aka AskDrMom?
Dr. Jessica Kiss graduated medical school from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Arizona after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona. She completed her residency training at College Medical Center in Long Beach, where she was also chief resident. Dr. Kiss specializes in family medicine and will be treating kids and adults of all ages.
Dr. Kiss is the mother 4. She has a background in special needs, having been a special needs tutor and ABA therapist as well in LGBTQIA care. She advises the school district locally regarding health and safety. Her passions include spending time outside, being active with her family, all things Disney, and a love for performing arts.
Dr. Kiss has a passion for teaching healthcare to the public beyond her local community. Since 2021, she has taken to social media amassing more than half a million followers giving her a platform for health education. She has also been featured as a medical expert on CNN, NBC, Yahoo!, Time, Inside Edition, Scary Mommy, and the Leaky Boob
In 2023, Dr. Kiss became seriously ill with long covid. Ultimately she was diagnosed with POTS, MCAS, ME-CFS, and Long COVID. She spent the next year and a half fighting to regain her life. Now armed with medical knowledge, she has started to help others advocate for their own care.
